One thing I’ve learned about my favorite holiday over the years is that you’re never too old for your mom to hide an Easter basket and leave a trail of clues in eggs for you to find. We also color hard-boiled Easter eggs as a family each year (and eat them for brunch). This time, my mom went all out and got us marble dye kits! Last year’s glitter eggs ended up being a bit too messy for my dad’s taste…
Another tradition I’ve loved since I was a little girl is picking out a special Easter dress. I do try to be more practical these days and find something that can be worn throughout the year. This white flounce dress is just what the Easter Bunny ordered! And I’m relieved to say that it survived the egg dying process without a spill. Happy Easter week to all! What are some of your family traditions?

Please tell Lucy that DCW and I will be at her Easter celebrations next year. I’ll be sure to dress Little DCW in the cutest little dress and she’ll be ready to search for her basket.

Hi Steph!
Thank you for sharing your Easter traditions! Love the look and need that dress… beautiful! We also dye eggs with our family. This year we’re experimenting with all natural dye made from cabbage and beets. I’ll let you know how they turn out. Also, thinking about using herbs like dill as a stencil (thank you Food Network for that idea!). A tradition that is near and dear to my sister and my hearts is that our family goes to a Polish Easter Basket blessing. This year we will be taking our Nani who is 93 years old! The service is in Polish and it’s an amazing reminder of our heritage and SO special! We even make polish baked goods and a lot goes into setting these sweet baskets up! Going to make sure we recap that on the blog for sure so stay tuned!
Happy Easter! Hugs!

Easter is my favorite holiday too!! Unfortunately this year I’ll have just moved into my new apartment so I won’t be celebrating that much, but hopefully I can next year! Loved this post!
