One of my favorite parts of celebrating holidays with Holden’s family is my stepmother-in-law’s signature cocktails. This year, she prepared a festive cranberry margarita for us. The cocktail was so photogenic that I had to snap an outfit of the day photo with it in front of their beautiful North Pole village. After sharing the photo on Instagram, I got a couple requests for her recipe, so I’ve posted it below. Holiday Cheers!
Ingredients
Thinly Sliced Lime (for garnish)
Fresh Cranberries (for garnish)
Sugar (for rim of glasses)
Lime Wedge (for rim of glasses)
Ice Cubes
1 C Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1 C 100% Agave Tequila
1/2 C Triple Sec
1/2 C Fresh Lime Juice
Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, and dip the edge in sugar to coat.
Fill glasses with ice.
In a pitcher filled with ice, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice, and stir together.
Pour into ice-filled glasses and add slice of lime and cranberries for garnish.
