I’ve dreamed about visiting Atlantis ever since watching Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as Madison and Alex Stewart in the classic film Holiday in the Sun. I have yet to make it to the Bahamas property (where the movie was filmed). However, on our trip to Dubai, we spent the day at the Atlantis The Palm (as recently seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), and I got to live out my prepubescent dreams and then some.
Highlights of our visit to Atlantis included a full tour of the property (complete with a sneak peek of the Neptune Underwater Suite), preview of the luxurious new Royal Atlantis that is set to open in 2018, lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, and then an afternoon at the Aquaventure Waterpark. My favorite part of the day was escaping the crowds and finding a spot on the beach to take pictures while reveling in the magnitude of the property. We also made an obligatory stop at the Gold ATM (yes, you read that right). Because who doesn’t need a block of solid gold to go? ????
