My husband has been giving me a hard time for not having enough “geek” on the blog as of late. Haven’t had much time to play video games these days– basically waiting for the Destiny release next week and then Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. My time has been dedicated to building the Dallas Blogger Collective and attending various fashion events. This weekend, I decided to return to my fangirl roots and don this allover print Batman comic dress. Wish I could share details on where to buy it, but I got it at a sample sale, and unfortunately, I don’t think it ever made it to production.
I wore the dress on our date to the Perot Museum this Sunday. Holden is obsessed with dinosaurs (we danced to the Jurassic Park theme song on our wedding night) and it was the museum’s last weekend to have the World’s Largest Dinosaurs exhibit. The trip was extra-special because I got to see my friends Sevi and Mia in action. Sevi, who works at the museum, generously gave us the guest passes, and we got a private tour of WLD from Mia, who volunteers there! Dug for dinosaur bones with Valery and her husband, who were also visiting the Perot that day.
