Date Night in a $15 Dress

Date Night in a $15 Dress | Stephanie Drenka

After splurging on (too many?) Nordstrom Anniversary Sale deals this weekend, it was time to rein myself in and get the budget back on track. Holden and I spent our Sunday evening in Downtown Carrollton chasing Pokemon and eating pizza at Cane Rosso. For our casual date night, I wore a wallet-friendly off-the-shoulder dress from Shein priced at only $14.99. I’ve been skeptical about ordering from Shein… the prices seem too good to be true. I ordered 6 different items (orders over $100 get free express shipping), and was pleasantly surprised with all of them!

I’m a huge proponent of mixing high and low pieces, and prefer to invest in higher-end accessories (like these Tory Burch sandals I bought from the NSale), and save by purchasing less expensive “trendy” clothing items, which may become outdated quickly. The Shein products definitely feel cheaper, but knowing that my dress cost less than our entire dinner allowed me to enjoy that pizza a little more!
