Fed Up

… with misogynistic, prepubescent boys and their derogatory smack-talking on Black Ops 2. I had to remind a snarky eleven year old who said I wasn’t supposed to be playing the game because I’m a “girl” that he wasn’t supposed to be playing due to the game’s Mature rating. (Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. May contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language)

He then continued into a litany of profanities using every offensive sexist remark his little brain could summon. What in the world are parents teaching/allowing their kids to do these days? Terrifying!

After venting on my Facebook page, I enjoyed reading the responses that fans have used to reply to similar imbecility. It reminded me to take it all in stride and find humor in the ignorance. Can’t change the world one multiplayer game at a time, so I might as well laugh.
