Girls Night Out at Spa on the Square

I couldn’t believe my luck when I received an email yesterday afternoon inviting me to an event at Spa on the Square in Southlake last night. Someone had canceled at the last minute and a spot opened for me! It worked out perfectly, because I had to be in town for a dentist appointment right before the event started. I definitely needed some relaxation after that.

Spa On The Square is a full service spa & salon located in Southlake’s Town Square. They invited a group of local bloggers for a “Girls Night Out From Head to Toe” at the spa. Since I was a last minute addition, I didn’t really know what was in store for us– I was blown away by their hospitality and services.

After we had a chance to sip on wine and nibble some cheese and fruits, the spa staff introduced themselves and informed us that they had closed the spa for the evening– we had the whole place to ourselves! They split us into stations- Hair, Facial, Nails, and Massage. We were each given an envelope when we arrived that let us know the order in which we would be rotating through the spa.

All of us were spoiled with mini-treatments in each station! Such a wonderful surprise. I started with a Hydrafacial, which left my skin smooth and glowing, and then had my hair curled and nails polished. As we all gathered in the front of the spa following our treatments, the estheticians gave us makeovers with cosmetics from my favorite line, Jane Iredale.

I can’t even describe how I felt after our night out. I think the last time I got pampered to that extent was on my wedding day. It’s been a busy few months, and I didn’t even realize how much I needed that relaxation until I stepped foot into the tranquility of the spa. I feel so blessed to have received such a comprehensive preview of Spa on the Square’s services and cannot wait to go back for more.
