My high school charm bracelet- a gift from my parents- chronicles the things I loved most during adolescence. A music note for my love of singing, convertible that represented the ’98 Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse my dad found for me, one half of a heart shared with my best friend Sarah (as well as the two peas in a pod charm that symbolized our friendship), dachshund, graduation cap, and camera. The bracelet and its charms are a reminder of significant milestones and some things that never change. This is why James Avery will always hold a special place in my heart.

The charms currently on rotation are my ladybug and camera. A few months ago, I shared why the ladybug is such an important symbol for me. She has become the unofficial mascot for this current season of my life.
The camera reminds me that storytelling through photography has been a passion of mine since my younger days– and even though my career has taken a lot of twists and turns, I always come back to this greater purpose of documenting life and making people/things seen.
