I did the unthinkable today– I wore a bright blue jumpsuit in public. I’m no stranger to one-piece outfits. I adore rompers in the summertime! But I’ve always felt that floor length jumpsuits were better left to skydivers. This season, I’ve seen so many bloggers in adorable jumpsuits that I had to take the plunge. I think I tried on about 6 different jumpsuits last week at Grapevine Mills. My short legs and wide hips were just not working well in the styles.
Then I found one hidden behind a bunch of maxi dresses in Forever 21— the cobalt blue color drew me in, and I loved the surplice top. I’m still convinced that jumpsuits, in general, were made for taller and more slender women than me, but at least I found one that I felt confident enough to wear outside the dim-lighted dressing room at the grand opening of Warby Parker’s Dallas retail store tonight!
