If you checked the blog in the past week, you may have noticed that I went M.I.A. for a bit. We left for Dubai last Saturday, and my plans to blog while we were away fell to the wayside when the travel converter at our hotel didn’t work with my Macbook power adapter. This ended up being a blessing in disguise and needed to happen in order for me to fully appreciate every moment of the trip, anyway.
Dubai was everything I dreamed of and more than I could have imagined. I can’t wait to share all the details with you! Unfortunately, without my computer, I wasn’t able to edit all the photos I took or start drafting posts, so it’s going to take me a bit to sort through the content. In the meantime, I’ve rounded up some of the highlights from my Instagram feed for anyone who doesn’t follow me there or who may have missed these pictures. I’ve come back refreshed, renewed, and more purposeful than ever. Even though the trip is over, I hope that the journey I started there has just begun.

So happy that you got to enjoy this trip with your family and Holden. And what a blessing it is that you couldn’t blog while there. You earned and deserved to be away from the daily grind of blogging.
Even with all of my travel envy from your pictures of this trip, I am so glad you are back and can’t wait to see your face.
