5 Essential Items to Buy During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
In case you end up being the lucky $1,000 giveaway winner and need ideas on how to spend your winnings, here are some of my Must-Have items to stock up on during the #NSale!
1) Classic Boots
My very favorite purchase from the 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was these black leather riding boots from Tory Burch. (I’m hoping that they have these in brown this year) They even have brands like Stuart Weitzman on sale. If you’ve been thinking about investing in a pair of expensive luxury boots… this is your chance to save hundreds of dollars.
2) Leather (or Faux Leather) Jacket
Perhaps my biggest NSale regret from last year is not purchasing this gorgeous leather jacket from Trouvé. It was on sale in brown, gray, and black, but I couldn’t quite make peace with buying real leather. I opted for a faux version from Levi’s instead. This year’s catalog featured a leather jacket from Treasure&Bond (a brand that gives back to support youth-empowering nonprofit organizations). This just might end up being my big splurge of the sale.
3) Brand-Name Handbag
The Anniversary Sale offers a rare opportunity to snag a *brand new* gorgeous Tory Burch bag before it’s available to the public. These are usually some of the first items to sell out, so if you spot something you like– don’t hesitate. (Nordstrom has a great free return policy, in case you go overboard…)
4) Leggings
Nothing says fall/winter fashion like a pair of classic black leggings! In previous Anniversary Sales, Zella’s Live In High Waist leggings have gone on sale and I buy at least two pairs to get me through the season. I missed out last sale on these Trouvé faux leather leggings, so I’m crossing my fingers that I have another chance this time around.
5) Comfy Cardigan
I’ve been obsessed with Halogen‘s cardigans lately and was excited to see a cute ribbed one in this year’s catalog. For those who like to splurge on super-soft sweaters, I spotted a gorgeous cashmere one from Theory that will be on sale for $165 off of the regular price!
