Here is my twofold tip when shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shoe selection: if you like it, buy it in two sizes (you can easily return the other) AND order in multiple colors/materials. Shop now, or forever hold your peace. I learned this the hard way.
I ordered these Blondo waterproof sneakers (the black leather ones) in a size 7, because the website told me to order up, and I’m typically a 6 1/2. By the time the shoes arrived and I realized they were too large for me, the size I did need was completely sold out online.
Similar disappointment set in when I realized how much I loved these Louise et Cie pumps in nude suede and went back later to order them in a pretty blush color only to discover that said color was no longer available. (You can bet that didn’t stop me from ordering the black suede version, though!) UPDATE: The Blush Velvet is back in stock!!!! Praise the retail Gods!
