Beauty products are the one type of purchase on which I rarely feel guilty for splurging. As the Flower Drum Song lyrics imply, I feel unapologetically good when I pamper myself. Usually my splurges are small and sporadic– a new red lipstick here or there, and nice shampoo and conditioner when my hair starts lacking luster. But with the amazing deals Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is offering, I’m not ashamed to admit that I went a little overboard in the beauty department.
I’ve been dying to try Drybar’s styling tools and products, but choosing all of the recommended products can add up quickly. This ‘Beach in a Box’ collection is valued at $209 and on sale for only $140! It was the first thing in my shopping cart. I also decided to invest in this T3 hair dryer, because my Chi one has been on the fritz. I love the rose gold accents!
My mom gave me a CLARISONIC Mia cleansing system for Christmas a couple of years ago, and it’s been the best skincare tool I’ve found. It’s usually around $129, but the NSale price is only $89! For all the makeup aficionados out there, NSale has some awesome cosmetic sets. The one I had to get was the stila ‘stay all day’ set, which includes my HG liquid eyeliner. It got me (and my cat-eyes) through my entire wedding. It’s paired with a gorgeous pink nude liquid lipstick– basically my go-to look for every day.
