Oh So Cynthia's Interview with Zac Posen

This Thursday, I experienced what I like to call a “Pinch Me” moment– when reality seems too good to be true, and you need to be reminded that you’re not dreaming. It’s been a whirlwind week. After Fashion X Dallas, I felt inspired to setup a separate brand/website for my photography work: Stephanie Drenka Photography. Within days, I was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime. Cynthia Smoot (Oh So Cynthia), the premiere Dallas blogger, invited me to photograph her exclusive interview with legendary fashion designer, Zac Posen. Zac was in Dallas for Fashion Group International’s “Night of Stars” Gala, where he was to be honored with the Career Achievement in Fashion Award.

The whole experience was just surreal and dream-like. We met in the Penthouse suite of The Joule hotel (natural light heaven), and I got to witness Cynthia in her element– interviewing Zac as if they were old friends… she’s a natural!

Photographing Zac was the easiest assignment ever, he’s the textbook definition of photogenic. And so kind/down to earth. I even got to jump in front of the camera to get a picture with him. *Swoons*
