BA STAR manufactures high-performance makeup for Cheerleaders & Dancers. I was given a sample of their products to review from BrandBacker. The package included an eyeshadow palette and primer. Although I’ve never been a cheerleader or dancer, this style of makeup is very familiar to me from being in theater.

Today, I used the lime and turquoise shadows to complement the bright orange t-shirt I am wearing in honor of #TeamGunner. Gunner is the 7 year old son of one of my North Texas blogger friends who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We’re having an event tonight to help support the family and wearing orange in solidarity. (I realized today that I don’t own any orange clothing, so I borrowed a v-neck from my husband!)
The eyeshadows are *very* pigmented. Not ideal for every day use, but would be great for a fun nighttime look. The shimmery, bright colors remind me of Urban Decay shadows, which are my favorite. The staying power of these shadows make them ideal for an evening of sweaty dancing!
