It’s back to reality after a weekend staycation at Texican Court. Checking into the boutique hotel felt being transported to some amalgamation of Palm Springs, Marfa, and Mexico City, except it is right in Las Colinas – tucked away between the Irving Convention Center and Toyota Music Factory.
I still don’t feel comfortable flying, so this year is all about road trip destinations. Seriously convenient, albeit random, to have such a cute place to visit just a stone’s throw from Dallas. I loved all the mid-century details–from pink doors to the orange SMEG refrigerator. AND A CLAWFOOT TUB. Their rates start at only $89/night. Editing the photos, I couldn’t help thinking that I may need to start planning another stay.
