Yesterday afternoon, I stepped outside to let the dogs run around and realized I could see my breath in the air. It is officially COLD. Even though Thanksgiving is still two weeks away, I’m already bombarded with Christmas decorations at every store I go into these days. It’s only a matter of time before they start playing “Jingle Bells” on the radio. Let’s face it– fall is already on its way out.
This Wishlist Wednesday post is dedicated to three staple items that would help me get through the blistery winter season.
1) Cozy Batman™ Sherpa from Forever 21
Love the playful pom at the top, the laplander style with fleece-lining which keeps the ears toasty, and of course– my favorite DC Superhero logo jacquarded around the hat to add the appropriate amount of “Geek” to my winter wardrobe. It would be the perfect accessory to wear while standing out in the cold for hours in hopes of getting…
2) Playstation 4 Console
EPIC FAIL. I did not pre-order my precious PS4. I got really lackadaisical and originally thought my fiance would take care of ordering it for us, but realized too late that neither of us actually followed through with the purchase. After scouring the internet for months, only to find the pre-orders sold out EVERYWHERE, I will be standing in line at my local Gamestop and/or Best Buy tomorrow for the midnight release hoping to get one. If that fails, I’ll spend the rest of my Friday scavenging. I thought maybe I’d be patient enough to wait for the frenzy to die down, but then I got my pre-ordered copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts for PS4 in the mail. It has been sitting on my entertainment center TAUNTING me all week. I can’t imagine lasting another day/week/month/year(!!) to play it. Please cross your fingers for me!
3) Multi-Strand Signature Torsade Necklace from chloe + isabel
The one upside to not getting a Playstation 4 will be having more of a social life this season. This gorgeous rhodium plated torsade necklace is all you need to dress up even the most basic little black dress for any holiday party. I’d even wear it with a sweatshirt for a little every day glam! The $188 price tag is a bit steep, but the statement it makes is priceless. It’s a valuable investment piece for sure.
