My favorite camera of all-time, the Fuji X100V, traveled with me to Cabo last month for a long-overdue and much-needed vacation. It was a time to reflect on the crazy past few years, and especially recent months. Leaving my job, starting a new one, co-founding a non-profit organization, and trying to balance all of those things with friends, family, and a newfound pole dancing hobby (obsession). As soon as I saw the ocean, my body remembered how to breathe deeply.
I love that the combination of this 20% Cinebloom Filter from Moment and the film simulation recipe I created for my trip to New Mexico last year gives me the freedom to shoot without worrying about post-processing later. All of these are straight out of the camera jpg files capture the warm haziness of the beach better than any Lightroom preset could do:
