One of my favorite parts of traveling, as I’m sure is common for most fashion bloggers, is choosing outfits for the trip. For Dubai, I was cognizant of the culture and needing to find more modest options. Dress code is a little more relaxed at resorts, but I knew we had a day planned in Old Dubai visiting the souks.

I wanted to find a shirt that would cover my arms, but still be comfortable in the heat. Fortuitously, I was introduced to the brand Kit and Ace when the local store invited me for a visit.

Kit and Ace was founded by Shannon and J.J. Wilson, the wife and son of Chip Wilson, who founded the popular athletic apparel company Lululemon. Kit and Ace elevates the athleisure trend with technical luxury, using proprietary scientific fabrics in fashionable and functional designs.

This white, scallop-edged blouse from Kit and Ace was perfect for staying cool while covered in the Deira souks. I paired it with the comfiest jeans ever and classic chucks. My favorite reversible tote (under $50!) was perfect for storing all the souvenirs we bought in the markets.

The “Page” blouse I’m wearing c/o Kit and Ace, is a new addition for spring and not yet available online. Check out the website to find a location near you, or shop other items in their collection!
