“The sky broke like an egg into full sunset and the water caught fire.” (Pamela Hansford Johnson)
I love a good sunset. I’ve photographed a few over the years, but the view as we sailed through Alaska’s Snow Pass is one for the books. Snow Pass wasn’t an official highlight of the Celebrity Solstice cruise, but the ship’s guest naturalist happened to mention it in one of his lectures.
We sailed through this section of the Inside Passage on our way to Juneau from Ketchikan. As we watched from the bow of the ship, our captain sounded a foghorn at each wildlife sighting. The whale spouts looked even more magical under the reflecting light.
As the sun finished setting, we headed back to the cabins to watch the final stages from the comfort of our balcony. I don’t know if there are words to describe its beauty, but luckily I had my camera ready…

I’m encouraged now to visit Alaska even more than before.

So beautiful pics. On what camera it was taken? Now I really want to visit this country but my nursing papers https://essays-service.com/high-quality-nursing-essay-writing.html dont let me do this.
