Hello Blog, My Old Friend

Dearest Blog,

What a strange season it has been.

Despite my prolonged absence, I have not forgotten you.

Since the beginning of this journey, you’ve housed so many memories.

Given me a space to look back and reflect.

Lately though, I’ve been learning how to be present.

And imagining my future.

The pandemic has robbed us all of so much, but it’s somehow made what remains even more precious.

I’m not going to take things for granted anymore.

So here I am asking you to forgive my neglect.

I’m ready to start the next chapter.

Filled with new dreams, plans, love.

For the first time, I feel like I’m truly writing my own story.

And I can’t wait to share it with you.
